NO SUCH THING !!!
Truth be known, "Palestinian" is a made up nationality. Yes, Israel was once named Palestine. In 70 AD the Roman Empire destroyed the Jew's beloved temple in Jerusalem, there was much tumult, and this resulted in the diaspora. With the Jews out of their land, Rome insultingly renamed it "Palestine," which is latin for "Philistine." The philistines were Greek fishermen who inhabited mainly the present-day Gaza area, and without invitation by the divine inheritants of all the promised land. Through history, the philistines have made trouble for the Jews.
By the time 1948 came around, the "squatters" in God's promised land were Arabic. Not wanted by their own kind, like Jordan or Egypt, these people were mostly comprised of convicts, troublemakers, and generally non-productive types. They lived in shacks, they did not cultivate the land or develop an economically sound society. What a contrast to the strong contribution today's Israel gives to the world! Some of the greatest medical minds have come out of Israel. Look at the beauty and productivity they have accomplished in the desert. Why this small country even has enough produce to export to other countries. They have creatively devised ways to irrigate, to bring water to plants--in the desert! One cannot help but notice and be impressed by the military structure of this nation.
Then the Jews came back to re-inhabit their land, May 1948. The Arab refugees eventually became organized, the Palestinian Liberation Organization was created, and their leader, a self-proclaimed "Palestinian" born and raised in Egypt, Yaser Arafat. Since then, the world, led by a blindfolded media, has believed that there is a viable people known as Palestinians, and that they deserve their own land. Many battles have been fought, many suicide (actually homicide) bombers detonated, and many times has the Israeli government appeased the PLO by giving them land for which they were promised peace. The Palestinians have proven to Israel and the world they have no interest in peace or in pieces of land. They want all of Israel, and will be a thorn in their side every day the Jews reign in Israel. And to do what with the land? They proved what they would do with it while living there before 1948, and even today, the Palestinians must go into Jewish towns to work, as their Arab towns are not industrialized. Psalm 83 states their desires: V4 "They have said, 'Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more." V12 "Who said, 'Let us take for ourselves The pastures of God for a possession."
For further reference, We encourage you to read the Holy Bible, as it is filled with evidence of God's covenant with His people and the land He gave them, as well as with His promises to return them to their land. Also, read "From Time Immemorial," by Joan Peters.
