` When will Revelation ch.6-19 take place on earth?
When will Rapture and Tribulation occur?
When will the world end?
This actually is all the same question. There are very, very few Bible experts that believe this date will be any later than one average human life span past the Israeli treaty of 1948. There are many anti-dispensationalists who say these dates will never come.
On an Old Testament perspective. The day of rapture will probably come on the day of "The Feast of Trumpets". Rapture, explained in First Corinthians, is noted for its announcement with trumpets. Besides each weekly sabbath day, God appointed seven yearly holidays. The Seven Feasts of Israel. They are Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Harvest, Trumpets, Atonement and Tabernacles. These were all directly announced by God the Father in the Torah and mentioned many times throughout the old testament. A Jewish and Christian scholar named Zola Levitt has opened millions of people's eyes with the following study......... With the birth of Jesus Christ 2000 years ago, the Festival year is renewed. Every year the feasts begin with Passover and end with Tabernacles. Zola has proven that the first four festivals have been fulfilled with Christ on earth. We are now in waiting for the final three with the first being the Feast of Trumpets.
PASSOVER....... We have already had our Passover. It was the very day of the Last Supper in 33 A.D. Jesus stated at the last supper that he is our last sacrifice. No more lamb's blood on the doors, he is the lamb.
FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD....... The second feast begins on the very next night and lasts for seven days. "Take this bread and eat, it is my body" Born in Bethlehem, (translated "House of Bread") Jesus is described as the bread of life. The most important Passover tradition is a breaking of bread and burying it in a cloth, then resurrecting it at the end of the ceremony. God performed this on the exact day of this feast in 33 A.D.
FIRST FRUITS....... This ancient feast just happens to land on our current day Easter or the day of Christ's resurrection. This also has already been fulfilled. It is the celebration of the first harvest. The Father's first harvest of resurrection was Jesus. 1Thessalonians 4. The saved will all go in number. Jesus's number is one.
PENTECOST or FEAST OF HARVEST........ This feast occurs exactly 50 days after First Fruits or Christ's resurrection. After Jesus told his disciples to wait quietly in Jerusalem (in Acts ch.1) until the day of the Feast of Harvest. On this day the Lord gave them the gift of the Holy Spirit. This is when fire came down from the heavens and they all spoke in different tongues, which of course is Pentecost, Acts 2. To get a better understanding about the number 50 and the Year of Jubilee read our Book of Ruth study. It will also explain what the Lord intended about sharing the corners of harvest fields.:1.
FEAST OF TRUMPETS......... Leviticus 23:24 was the Lord's direct order to Moses proclaiming a sabbath on the first day of the Jewish calendar. Also known as Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year), late September to us. The high priest would stand on the parapet of the temple and blew the trumpet in the surrounding fields. In that instant the workers would come running to the temple to worship. No matter what was left to be gathered or brought in from the fields. The Rapture is very clearly associated with trumpets. 1Corrinthians15:51-52 says "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." This will be a day of change or to differ, the first day of a new year. The saved will be taken up with the Lord because they do not deserve the last seven years on earth.
FEAST OF ATONEMENT......... YOM KIPPUR....On the tenth day of the seventh month of the Jewish year, God the father appointed this day as the day his people would atone with him. The Jew would confess their sins and repent to him all they have done wrong throughout the year. They would make "atonement" or make good with him if they wanted to be a child of God. In the second coming the Lord will reach his hand out to the unbelieving Jew. The ones who rejected or did not believe in Jesus, will now be saved. Why? Well, first of all they are God's chosen people. Secondly, This, Yes this day will be the day of the second coming of Christ. Jesus will appear in the flesh to the Jew at the gates of Jerusalem. Thousands will recognize who this is immediately. God the father will make atonement with his people who finally recognize his son, and take them back for his own. The Lord will now atone with his people. Read Zechariah 13, this will tell the living Christian in this time of what is promised to clearly come. Christians in our time should still reflect our sins on this day. It should be a humbling day of reflection as Good Friday is. The Lord ordered this day as the most holiest day of the year. Since Jesus has come most Christians believe that day should be Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday. Loving Christians should still reflect on this day as mentioned in the writings of Barnabas. The original church of Christ (Peter's Church) did. Historical records have been found all the way into 290AD that these 7 feasts were all observed in the way of the new covenant every year. The Kol Nidrei Prayer can be adapted to thanks we give for Christ. See the 7 Feasts of Peter link below.
FEAST OF TABERNACLES.......7th full moon of the year. This feast of the Jews was noted as the pure feast of rest. It represents the Lord's shelter in the world to come. Still today, Jews build a small hut outside of their homes to simulate his shelter. They worship with their families there for 7 days. In the second coming, this will be the feast of at long last. It will be the one of in his shelter finally with us. It will be the welcoming party for the saved. It will most likely occur on the 7th moon of the year, in the year of the battle of Armageddon. It will be the Feast of Rest for the saved.
REMEMBER FRIENDS:
He was crucified on PASSOVER, buried on UNLEAVENED BREAD, raised on FIRST FRUITS and sent the Holy Spirit on PENTECOST so we could witness to the world before He sounds the horns on the FEAST OF TRUMPETS to gather those who want him, before the world prohibits him.
